Meet the Therapist

Chloe DeWolf-Domingo, MA, Marriage & Family Therapist Associate

Hi there! I’m glad you’re here. My name is Chloe (she/they). I am a multi-racial, Queer, person of color, and so much more! I identify as being bi-cultural and was raised between mainland West Coast American culture and within a more collective culture in Hawai’i. I believe that everyone’s path to mental wellness is different and fluid, but attainable when clients feel empowered, safe, and motivated to bring their whole selves and intersections to the work.

I graduated with a Master’s Degree in Marriage, Couple and Family Therapy from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Or. I employ a therapeutic approach that focuses on illuminating places of stuckness and helping people experience change. I conceptualize our work together through the following theories: Emotion Focused Couple's Therapy, EMDR, Somatic Therapy, and Polyvagal Informed theories.

During our time together, we’ll talk openly and honestly. Working together can look like exploring areas of life that need tending too. Whether it’s trauma, day-to-day coping skills, life’s big questions, or a mixture of if all, I’ll work to create an environment where you can bring all of your intersections. I look forward to meeting you!

The Intellectualizer

You've been doing "the work" for years. You're familiar with attachment styles, trauma language, and maybe even unpacked how race, culture, and queerness have influenced your patterns. But insight alone hasn't changed how your nervous system responds.

The Multicultural Couple or Family

Relationships are shaped by culture, race, queerness, and generational differences and love. You don't want to spend therapy explaining why those things matter. I help intercultural, interracial, and LGBTQ+ couples and families move beyond conflict by recreating new patterns of communication.

The Anxious - Avoidant Couple

You love each other, but your unmet attachment needs and boundaries keep pulling you into the same cycle. Through attachment-based couples therapy, either virtually or in Portland, we'll explore the cycle beneath the conflict and strengthen connection.

You've learned to read people quickly and adapt to keep yourself safe. Maybe you've code-switched across cultures or even just at work. Maybe you've become the peacemaker, the over-achiever, or the doesn't know how to ask or accept help. Those roles helped you survive, but they won't get you to where you want to be.
